20th GMA 2009

Don't know if you guys watched the 20th Golden Melody Awards. Jay Chou didn't attend it though. He got nominated for 8 awards out of 13 main categories (thats if i've not mistaken) which is pretty cool.

Best Album = Capricorn
Best Producer = Jay Chou
Song of The Year = Dao Xiang
Best Composer = Jay Chou for Dao Xiang
Best Lyricist = Jay Chou for Dao Xiang
Best Male Singer = Jay Chou
Best MV (director) = Jay Chou for Mr. Magic
Best Music Arrangement = Mr. Magic

Out of the 8, he won 3; (and if i'm not mistaken again, makes him the biggest winner)

Song of The Year = Dao Xiang
Best Male Singer = Jay Chou
Best MV = Jay Chou for Mr. Magic

I think Jay Chou winning 'Best Male Singer' was pretty surprising. Never thought he could win that award, mumbling. :D Anyways, congratulations to him.
