Drifting away from jay for the moment..

Now it's the Beijing olympics ~

I've heard many of my friends are unable to shift their eyes away from the tv thanks to the olympics.

For me personally, I'm not someone who watch tv, so only when there's major events such as singapore team participating etc, i would then sit in front of the tv and watch the olympics.

For this olympics, there's many historical breakthroughs and tragedies, don't you guys agree?

for example, michael phelps having 8 golds, Usain bolt breaking world records like a madman, poor hungarian weightlifter dislocated his elbow ( thanks to jaz for informing me about this ), Liu Xiang backing out of the hurdles events.

And there's many media controversys,

Especially when before china was about to hold this event, many claimed the air pollution was so horrible there, which will affect the atheletes from performing their best.

But it turned out otherwise, and i find that China did a great job in hosting the olympics, letting those western countries know that we Asia countries are no pushover.

So what are your thoughts about this olympics?

I am really into Olympics, except for sports that I don't really like watching. Yep, China did a very good job hosting it, and up till now, everything is still okay. I think on 080808, many westerners already think that China is amazing, with all the performances put up. Minus the little girl and the fake fireworks, everything is like so so so perfect. & Singapore able to win the first medal in 48 years is amazing. When the flag was being pulled up, it was really very nice. OH i think i just commented a lot. haha.
