袁和平力捧周杰伦演“武神”Yuen Woo Ping trusts Jay in acting 'God of martial arts'

被称为第一武术指导的袁和平最新武术片《苏乞儿》于昨日(2日，下同)在北京举办首次媒体发布会，影片主创导演袁和平、周杰伦、周迅、赵文卓等主要演员一同出席。该片中由赵文卓扮演苏乞儿，而周杰伦则在片中扮演武功出神入化的“武神”一角。周董被现场众媒体质疑不会武功是否能胜任时，袁和平马上维护周杰伦说：“我对他很有信心！”据悉，杨紫琼也会参演这部电影，扮演一个武功很高的世外高人，本片上映日期尚未确定。

Yuan Woo Ping (<- click to know more about him) is known as the first director of martial arts. His new martial arts film 《苏乞儿》(<- click to know more about the movie) held its first media press conference in beijing on 2Nov2008. The people present for the press conference were director Yuan Woo Ping, Jay Chou, Jue(Zhou Xun), Zhao Wen Zhuo and some other actors/actresses. In 《苏乞儿》, Zhao Wen Zho will be acting as "苏乞儿" and Jay will be acting as a very pro martial art person named "God of martial Arts". The media showed their disbelief towards Jay's martial arts skills and they were asking if his skills could be as good as they wanted. At the moment, Yuan Woo Ping immediately helped Jay and said " I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN JAY CHOU!". According to news reported, Michelle Yeoh will also be acting in the movie as a master in martial arts. The release date of this movie is still not confirmed.



赵文卓说，袁和平要求很高，与自己初次见面就问：“你多重？要减肥！”他透露自己通过练功、跑步和节食，减了足足9公斤。“八爷（袁和平）多年没导过功夫片，这次令大家都十分期待。”而另一名男演员郭小冬则透露自己将在这部片中饰演一个AIGUO人士，他因为不满外国侵略者的嚣张气焰，在苏乞儿引导下，从一个小兵成为教头，带领一帮将士把外国入侵者赶出中国。周迅：能看到我母爱一面.


Zhao Wen Zhuo mentioned that Yuan Woo Ping has very high expectations. Zhao Wen Zhuo exclaimed that the first time he met with the director, Yuan Woo Ping asked " How heavy are you? You need to go on a diet!" Zhao Wen Zhuo also mentioned that he lost 9Kg by practising martial arts, running, and controlling on what he eats. " Yuan Woo Ping has not directed a movie based on martial arts for a long time, this time everybody is looking forward to this movie!" Another actor Guo Xiao Dong mentioned that he would be acting as a person who loves his country a lot and because of some unhappiness, under "苏乞儿", he managed to become someone respectable from a small soldier. On the other hand, Zhou Xun said " Able to see my motherly side



周迅则对自己在此片中不能出演打戏大呼遗憾。她表示，看了剧本后，最初以为袁和平要找自己拍打戏，非常惊喜，可惜最后没能如愿。自信的周迅认为她这部戏中给袁导留下了很好的印象，有机会下次合作一部打戏。周迅微笑着说，她在片中的角色最让自己感动的是，这个女人总在瞬间变得很强大，男人在她的鼓励和疼爱下“茁壮成长”。“和我今年这三部戏都不太一样，让大家都看到我母爱的一面。”


Zhou Xun shows "dissatisfaction" because she was unable to act any parts related to martial arts. At first, when Yuan Woo Ping wanted to find her to act in his movie based on martial arts, she was feeling very happy and excited, however in the end she did not have a chance to act acts of martial arts. Zhou Xun was confident that she left a very good impression infront of director in this movie, and she claims that there is high chance of her working with director again in another movie based on martial arts. She smiled and said that she was being touched by the character she is acting that the character becomes strong in just a short while, and guys under her encouragement and love, would become good? (no idea, XD). She also claims that this movie is different from the other 3 she acted in this year, because this movie can let people see the motherly side of Zhou Xun.




刚刚下飞机的周杰伦显得有些倦色，他透露要饰演天下无敌的武神压力很大。“跟八爷合作很荣幸，我进剧组后第一个任务就是要增肥。下一个任务就是好好训练武术。”周杰伦还调皮地向赵文卓发起挑战说：“我在影片里面很厉害，所以赵老师你要小心哦。”


Jay just got off from the plane and he looked very tired. He mentioned that he faces great pressure when acting his role. He said " I am very honoured to be able to work with director, and the first task when i entered the production/film crew was to gain weight. And my next task is to practise martial arts." Jay also mischieviously challenged Zhao Wen Zhuo and said " In the movie, I am a pro. Teacher Zhao, you must take care."




周杰伦不肯透露太多剧情，笑称是“不能说的秘密”。他还称自己和周迅没有太多对手戏，大呼“太可惜”。他还直呼周迅为“周大姐”：“我和周大姐在拍MV时合作过，感觉相当不错。”周迅笑着回应说两人的戏份早就结束在威尼斯了。袁和平：周杰伦不演大反派.


Jay did not wish to leak too much of the plot and he said that the movie is " Secret." He also mentioned that he did not have a lot of parts to act with Zhou Xun and he claimed that it is such a waste. He also calls Zhou Xun " Big Sister Zhou". He said " The feeling when i acted with Big Sister Zhou is very good" and Zhou Xun replied by saying that the show between the 2 of them has already ended in Venice. Yuan Woo Ping said that Jay would not act as a bad guy.




在发布会上，众记者纷纷质疑周杰伦是否达到片中的武打要求，袁和平则说：“他绝对能达到要求，我很有信心！”他称周杰伦以前演过的戏自己都看过，并赞对方双节棍耍起来很流畅，本身很有拍动作片的基础。周杰伦见状立即表示：“记者这样问，搞得我压力很大！”周杰伦还聪明地现场向袁和平争取电影主题歌的创作权：“导演你如果请我写电影的主题曲，我会把这部片的 MV拍得很酷。”在解释为什么要请周杰伦出演“武神”时，袁和平大赞周杰伦，称自己面试了很多演员，还是周杰伦比较适合，“他不讲话时很酷，很像有内涵的高手。”周杰伦则自信地说接下这个角色因为是“武神”很厉害，在片中大家只要碰到武神都会肃然起敬。当有记者称周杰伦戏份不多时，周杰伦回应说：“其实不管戏份怎么样，不同导演不同作风，我学到很多东西。”而袁和平随之也给足周杰伦面子，称他其实戏份也不少！

In the press conference, many reporters were doubting if Jay could reach the expectaion of the martial arts request, and Yuan Woo Ping exclaimed " He definitely can reach the expectation, I have confidence!" He said that he has has watched movies acted by Jay. He also praised Jay that he plays the Nunchakus very well and he has the basics to act in an action-packed movie.
Jay exclaimed " The way the reporter asked has caused me to have great pressure!" and he smartly asked Yuan Woo Ping if he could write the theme song of the movie. He said " If the director wishes that i compose the theme song, I would film the MV of the song in a very cool way!" When explaining why he chose Jay to act as " God of martial arts", Yuan Woo Ping claimed that he has interviewed many actors, but he still thought Jay was the best candidate. " When he don't talk, he looks like he has the connotation of a master. " On the other hand, Jay confidently said that he accepted the role because he was a "God of martial arts" and people who met him in the movie would show him great respect. When there was a reporter who said that Jay would act very little in the movie, Jay replied " It is not about how much one acts in a movie, but the fact that I learnt a lot because of the different styles of different directors. " However, Yuan Woo Ping claimed that Jay has quite a lot of acting parts in the movie.
